History
They came from near the source of Nam Nhouang 21 years ago. They believe their ethnic group is similar to Tai Meuy in songs and traditional dress, but their housing differs. They consider themselves to be very different from Tai Thaeng. In marriage, the male takes care of all the necessary arrangements. In Tai Meuy culture, the woman's family pays for all preparations.
