Description: The colored silk portion of this blanket repeats the motif of two nagas with their necks placed together. The magenta and white figures in the center of the detail shown here illustrate this motif. The border of this blanket is made of white woven cotton sewn to the central woven silk motif. This blanket was made as a baby blanket and later used to cover a sleeping mattress.
