Terrain: Scenic limestone formations at the northern edge of the Annamite Mountain range which divides Laos from Vietnam on its Eastern border.

This village was occupied by the Thai (Louang Pagnot) which had made a camp and oppressed the population (girls, goods and drudgeries). They expressed their complaints to Chao in Vietnam and the Vietnameses came with French troops. The Vietnamese were successful in removing the Thai and the French constructed a camp in the village.

Merchants of buffaloes and cows, they will buy from merchants coming from Thailand in Pak Hin Boun to sell to Vietnamese while passing by Ban Napè. They do not have a chao.
